Web Ring Update

Some of you long time members may receive a notice from RingSurf stating that your membership has been approved. RingSurf started to split up the members list based on who has the ring code and those who just have a link. They call this second list "Sites of Interest". I've moved all of you in to the members list to make it easier to maintain the web ring.

Linking in MSN Spaces

If you're a MSN Spaces user and you want to join the Blog Oklahoma web ring, but you can't figure out how to add the Blog Oklahoma web ring code.

Well you can't.

Unfortunately you can't add the web ring code, but you can add a simple link to Blog Oklahoma (thus letting you join our Blog Oklahoma family):
  • Login to your MSN Space
  • Click on Lists
  • Click on Create List
  • Name your list and select list type (Example: "Oklahoma", Custom List)
  • Click on Save button
  • Click on Add Item
    • Name (Required): Blog Oklahoma
    • URL: http://www.blogoklahoma.com
    • Description: Leave blank or add something about Blog Oklahoma to it. (Doesn't support HTML code as far as I can tell)
    • Click Add button
    • (Repeat)
To position your new list either Drag it (IE Only) or Click on Customize and then on the sub menu's Customize.

For an example see my MSN Spaces test space.

(I posted this back in April 05 when MSN Spaces was first launched. They have since changed a few things since then. Above are the latest steps.)
