We've decided to start using Google Apps to help manage some of the Blog Oklahoma Network's back office stuff. So I'm in the processes of moving our e-mail around to our own @blogoklahoma.net addresses.

For those of you with Blog Oklahoma or BlogOklahoma.us in your address books, you won't have to do anything. I still have all the ITLnet e-mail addresses up and running. I already have them forwarding to our new Google Apps Gmail accounts. If you want the new address for your records, just e-mail and we'll reply from the new account.

I'm hoping to get some of Blog Oklahoma's web ring automation moved to the new e-mail addresses, but that might take some time. Both of the contact pages here and at BlogOklahoma.us already use the new e-mail addresses.

Google Apps wasn't too hard to setup, but I did need to get our system administrator involved to move our MX records to Google. If we learn any Google Apps tips or tricks we'll happily pass them along. If you know of any please feel free to contact us. Who knows, this might make for a good Blog Oklahoma Podcast segment.
